Coach Kevin Schirmer joined Roosevelt for the 2021 Fall season. Kevin grew up in East Bay area of Northern California. He played for the 680 Water Polo Club and San Ramon Valley High School. He was recruited to the University of the Pacific for the swim team, and was later approached by the water polo coach and offered the opportunity to try out. From that point, Kevin became a two-sport collegiate athlete. Kevin majored in engineering, and is still an active member of the Seattle Water Polo community. Kevin is the Director and Head Coach of Rain City Water Polo and looks forward to working with our Roosevelt Athletes. 2023-2024 will be Kevin's third year with RHS Water Polo.

Matt Pritchett will be returning as assistant coach and helping with our JV team. Matt played water polo at the collegiate level in California at Santa Clara as a goalie. Matt is also a coach with Rain City Water Polo.

Edwin Lee is new to our coaching team this year. Edwin is the current president of UW Mens Water Polo club. He played with T Hills in Oregon and just graduated from UW with his degree in biochemistry. Edwin hopes to attend dental school in the next year. 

Meredith Mcvicar will be supporting our JV program is a part time capacity.  Meredith is a Roosevelt Girls Water Polo Alumn and coaches the Roosevelt Girls. She has also coached Rain City 14u boys and girls for a number of years. Meredith is excited to support our growing program and committed to growing and integrating the Boys and Girls Water Polo programs at Roosevelt.
