Winter Conditioning Club is for all RHS students but is a great way to get in shape leading up to the track & field season. Winter Conditioning Club runs January through the week prior to the official season. Practices are after school on the track, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Practices are as follows:
- Monday-Friday: 3:50-5:45pm
- Saturdays: 9:00-11:00am*
* Saturday, March 8th practice is followed by parent meeting 11am-1pm.
The Metro League has 17 schools and this year, only 3 locations for meets (Nathan Hale, West Seattle, and Ingraham). To help these large meets run smoothly, the district is assigning each school to run specific events at each track meet.
Please volunteer for as many shifts as you can and take note of the meet location at: **SIGN UP SCHEDULE LINK PENDING**
Seattle Public Schools does not charge a fee for athletes to participate in sports. This means our team needs support to cover basic costs.
We are asking families to pay a participation fee of $100 per athlete. To pay, please press the “Donate” button at the bottom of this page and select “Track & Field” from the drop-down menu. Or, you can write a check to “Roosevelt Athletic Boosters Club” and give to Coach Collier.
This fee is a suggested donation amount. We appreciate if you can give more to support those students who are unable to pay the full amount. Your donation to Track & Field through the Roosevelt Athletic Boosters (RAB is a 501(C)3 Organization, Tax ID: 34-2022-806) is tax deductible and open to Employer matching.

Shoes: Please wear athletic running shoes to all practices. Some athletes choose to purchase track spikes for races but these are not mandatory.
Warm up gear: Please dress for the weather. Warm up pants and jacket/sweatshirt may be necessary to keep muscles warm during the first few weeks of the season and during all track meets.
Team Hoodie: Traditionally, early each season, captains design a team hoodie and athletes are given the opportunity to purchase.
Uniforms/Shorts: Uniform tops will be provided. However, athletes will need to provide their own plain black running shorts for meets.

Each of the Spring teams now have their own Boosters Storefront open for a limited time: The order deadline is Sunday 3/16 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time). This is a tight turnaround so we can get the orders distributed prior to the holiday break. Click HERE to access the TRACK & FIELD BOOSTERS TEAM STORE!
Fan gear is offered for families and fans as a fundraiser for the Roosevelt Athletic Boosters Club (RAB) General Fund to raise money to support sports at Roosevelt. Nearly half of all Roosevelt students participate in athletics.
RAB helps fund items that stay with the school or benefit an entire team/sport. Our largest annual financial obligation is to help fund an on-site athletic trainer and training supplies. RAB also helps teams pay for uniforms, helmets, gear, balls, nets, tents, timers, post-season competition (ie: Play-Offs, District and State Tournaments), pool and facility rentals, cage time, sports software, training and camps, and school-wide sports recognition banquets or awards night events.
The Booster Club relies on contributions and fundraising to operate. [NOTE: We also offer a General "R" Storefront that is great if you have kids participating in multiple sports OR just want to support ALL of Roosevelt! Click HERE to enter the General Store.
Items purchased from either storefront, will arrive around 4/1/25 and will be distributed by your team representative.
Thank you for your support!
