For all those interested in trying out for Roosevelt Fastpitch, there is a mandatory meeting scheduled this Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 2:45 in the Commons.
Also, students must have the following completed before tryouts:
- Be signed up on FinalForms for Fastpitch
- Physicals Updated
- Waivers signed by parent and student
- ASB fees paid.

Tryouts are on Monday, February 27 at 4pm. Meet at Lower Woodland field #5.

Roosevelt Fastpitch is starting off-season weight training on Wednesday nights at 6pm at Roosevelt High School.
Students must have their athletic registration completed and on file with the school in order to participate. Click here for more information on athletic registration.

HT has coached teams of multiple ages in Little League (NESLL) and competitive select teams in Western Washington (Seattle Spice Fastpitch, Seattle Fastpitch Club, and Absolute Blast Fastpitch Association). He’s also served on the Seattle Spice Fastpitch board, most recently as Vice President. Coach Lee is currently one of the head coaches of the Absolute Blast 16U Gold team, based out of Woodinville, and also helps coach a Little League Majors team (NESLL). He is a proud alum of the University of Washington and Fuller Theological Seminary.
Aaron is returning for his second year coaching the Riders. He played his Division I collegiate baseball at The College of William & Mary, and one year of semi-professional baseball in Adelaide, Australia. He has coached at all levels for NE Seattle Little League as well as for Seattle-based select teams (Seattle Spice Fastpitch, and Seattle Pilots Fastpitch). Prior to fastpitch, Aaron coached youth recreational and select baseball (ages 10-18) over the past 3 decades. He's passionate about player development, and creating a constructive, positive environment in which student-athletes can thrive.
Assistant Coach Jessica Serio
Jess has coached and played collegiately at the Division I level. She spent her collegiate coaching career at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and at Drexel University, where she earned her Masters' degree in Sport Management. As a collegiate athlete at UMass, Serio was a member of four Atlantic 10 Championship softball teams during her career. In each of her four years, UMass won regular-season and conference tournament championships and had four appearances in the NCAA Tournament. As a sophomore, Serio led the team in hitting with a .365 average. As a junior and a senior, she earned Atlantic 10 All-Tournament Team honors. Since moving to Seattle, she has volunteered with the Northwest Seattle Little League (NWSLL) and with the Seattle University Softball program.

Jenna has played just about every sport in the books and prides herself on her passion for athletics. Having coached high school basketball the last two years, Jenna is excited to join the world of softball this Spring! She has coached all ages, been a part of countless summer camps, and thoroughly enjoys the process of seeing athletes grow within sports.
