ARE YOU INTERESTED IN JOINING THE ROOSEVELT BOYS LACROSSE CLUB?

Roosevelt Lacrosse is a club sport, meaning it receives no funding from the school - all funding comes from parents, players, fans, and sponsors. Our mission is to provide a great environment for young men to not only learn and play lacrosse but prepare for the future.  

2024 Season Info: 
Registration for the 2024 season will open mid-January.  Check the team website regularly for notices on when registration opens: roughriderlax.org/registration

The 2024 season will begin with captains practices in Mid-January with official team practices starting Feb 26th 2024. The team practices roughly 5 times a week.  Games will be Mid-March 2024 to Mid-May 2024.    

Players of all skill levels are welcomed. No experience necessary.

Get a Free Sports Physical Starting Sept. 5th

Can't get a hold of your doctor and you need a sports physical? The Teen Health Center (room 225) offers sports physicals to all SPS students free of charge!

You can also contact the RHS Teen Health Center by emailing Suna.oh@neighborcare.org or text 206-653-9786 to schedule. 

Appointments start on Sept. 5th, 2023. 

RHS Varsity Gx Ultimate Frisbee Currently Ranked #1 in the Nation!

The RHS Varsity Gx Program is currently ranked #1 in the nation! In addition to their current 5-1 season record, the team was proud to bring home the Seattle Invite trophy, where they played undefeated in six intense tournament games, just before Spring Break. The Seattle Invite tournament showcases teams from Washington, Oregon, Utah, and more. Come cheer on your team as they go into SPS and then State Playoffs in early to mid-May! The first play-off game is on Thursday, May 4, time and opponent to be announced!

Spring Pint Night is Monday, May 1st - 7-9pm

Come raise a glass and support Roosevelt Athletics at The DUCHESS - 2827 NE 55th St. on May 1 from 7-9pm! Buy a $45 ticket HERE and get:

  • A commemorative Roosevelt Pint Glass
  • Tickets for 2 pints of Roosevelt Beer (other beer, wine or cocktails available for personal purchase)

When purchasing a ticket, select General Booster Fund in the "sport" menu, AND type Pint Night in "Notes". Enter $45 in "donation amount", come, drink beer, and have fun!

All proceeds from Pint Night will go to the Roosevelt Athletic Booster Club, which funds a portion of the school's on-site Athletic Trainer and helps teams pay for uniforms, equipment, facility fees, and other needs.
