The Girls Ultimate program at RHS is a strong, established club team that thrives thanks to our emphasis on highly skilled, team oriented, and competitive play in the spirit of the game. The team is run by parents and students who volunteer their time to help support the team. We play in the Disc Northwest league (https://www.discnw.org) who organize the league and run playoffs and tournaments. Coaches are hired from a regular pool of local, professional, adult players/coaches (see our WEBSITE for details)
Tryouts are held in late February, for the Spring season where we field both Varsity & JV teams. We try to accommodate as many players as possible, but team spots are limited. Cuts at tryouts are more common than not, based on numbers trying out.
Our season runs mid-March thru late May, including playoffs.
Practices are typically 3 days/week in afternoons or evenings at a local park or playfield (generally not at RHS due to lack of field availability and priority given to WIAA sports.)
