After a thrilling 2023 season culminating with the Varsity team winning the Metro League title and reaching the State Championship, we could not be more excited for the 2024 season! We are pleased to welcome back our Varsity Coaches – Caitlyn Hughes and Sydney Spadinger, along with our JV Coaches – Elizabeth Hinson and Adrienne Leonard, and our Goalie Coach Gwen Armbruster who will support both Varsity and JV goalies this season.

Club Information & Expectations

RGLC is a Club Sport

We’re an independent club that is entirely self-funded. Registration fees make up a significant portion of our budget and cover: Seattle Parks & Rec field fees, coach salaries, Washington State Lacrosse Association (WSLA) team league fees, and equipment (goals, nets, balls, goalie gear, first aid kit, etc.).

Club Operations and Refund Policy

To participate in tryouts, all players must register and pay the registration fee by Friday, February 23, 2024. All registrants have an opportunity to try out for the Varsity team. Players not selected for Varsity will be rostered on the JV team. RGLC does not provide refunds after tryouts begin on Monday, February 26, 2024. For example, if your player attends tryouts, does not make the team she expected, and chooses not to participate, your registration fee will not be refunded.

This season, the majority of player and parent communication will be through the text app GroupMe. Please download the app:

Fundraising and sponsorships are necessary to fully fund the club. We will be engaging in fewer fundraising activities this year, but all players–Varsity and JV–are expected to participate. If your family is interested in becoming an RGLC sponsor or has a sponsorship idea, please contact Elaina Robinson at

DONATE to GIRLS LACROSSE! Please consider donating to Girls Lacrosse through the RAB (Roosevelt Athletic Boosters is a 501(C)3 nonprofit) and specify Girls Lacrosse.  Donations go directly to the team to cover registration fees scholarships,  field fees, coaches stipends, goals and equipment, and uniforms. We are a 100% volunteer-run club sport and do not receive direct funding from the school. Our funds come from parents, club supporters, and grants from ASB and from RAB. We greatly appreciate their support!
