Welcome to the 2019 RHS Water Polo Season 

Roosevelt's boys water polo team returns all the starters from last year's third place team, along with the largest-ever turnout for the combined varsity and junior varsity rosters. The team is off to a fast start this season, with a victories over reigning state champion Curtis Senior High School and last year's runner up, Bainbridge Island.

About Rough Rider Water Polo

Roosevelt Water Polo is a club team that draws athletes from across Northeast Seattle. The Riders consistently rank among the best in Washington, finishing in the top four at the state tournament in three of the past four years. Former players have gone on to play collegiate polo at Division 1 programs. The water polo season starts in September and runs through  November. Experienced and novice athletes alike are encouraged to join the program.

 

Head Coach Clark Barry

Coach Clark Barry will join Roosevelt for the 2018 season. Clark grew up in Fullerton, Calif., and began playing water polo at age 12. He played for Troy High School and SoCal Water Polo Foundation during his high school years. He walked on as a goalkeeper for the University of Southern California and was part of four national championship teams. After moving to Seattle, Clark began coaching for Rain City Water Polo.
